How to keep the best talent?
It takes being the best personally to retain & maintain the best

It is a constantly asked question by the senior management when faced with a change in the industry.
Do we have the best performers to stay on the cutting edge of change?
The answer often times remains to hire new, fresh, and better talent.
The "innovative" answer to all the problems because it buys to time to train, observe, evaluate and wait for another review.
But, what is often times ignored is a journey within.
What it really takes is an honest personal assessment to find out if we are the best in our respective roles.
Sometimes, feedback from those who are on the cutting board after the next review to set direction of the journey inward.
It is a humbling experience and a tough journey because often the answer is not outside with "new" or "better talent." It is within our own thoughts, our own actions and projections.
If we are the best at what we do and strive to be better.
We will sow more positive thoughts, take more positive actions and project the best for the future.
We will raise the best within and attract the better from the outside.
